We appreciate that this past year has been incredibly challenging for many people and that you might not be in a position to help St Leonard’s Hospice right now. However, there is one way of supporting the Hospice that can make a difference to local people in the future but doesn’t cost anything now – remembering St Leonard’s in your Will.

There are a lot of misconceptions when it comes to legacy gifts, in particular people thinking they have to donate large sums of money or that they have to overlook family and friends. Any donation, however big or small, that is included in a Will today will significantly make a difference. It will help patients to live their lives as normally as possible, perhaps visiting favourite places. It will pay the nurse who brings hospice care into a patient’s own home and allows a husband or wife to stop being a ‘carer’ and return to being a loving partner. It will provide bereavement support to a son, a daughter, a brother, a friend.

Including a gift in your Will today means you will be helping to make a difference to lives in the future.

‘There are no words which could adequately describe the care myself, my husband David and our son received from the angels (because that's how I see them) at St Leonard's. It will be no surprise to anyone that alongside my family, St Leonard's Hospice is remembered in my Will’. Barbara, Hospice supporter

We are giving you the opportunity to receive a free legacy pack with more information on how to leave a gift in your Will. The pack will include your own sunflowers seeds enabling you to ‘plant the seed’ in your own gardens and enjoy watching them grow.
