UPDATED 7.20PM: Road cleared, accident cleared on A1237 near Millfield Lane industrial estate turn off.

REPORTS are coming in of an accident on the York outer ringroad.

The A1237 is partially blocked with slow traffic due to accident near the Millfield Lane industrial estate turn off.

It's causing traffic problems and drivers are being asked to avoid the area if they can. It's causing knock-on congestion to Shipton Road and the A59.

It's not clear if anyone has been injured in the accident.
