UPDATE 4.30PM: The earlier accident has now been cleared in St Swithin's Walk near A59 Poppleton Road.
DRIVERS are being warned to avoid a street in York after an on-going crash.
St Swithin's Walk is currently partially blocked due to an accident near to the junction with Poppleton Road.
Traffic is coping well, but drivers are being asked to try and avoid the area if they can.
It's not known if anyone has been injured in the crash.
