WHY do we need all these extra recycling bins?

In my opinion, that will mean more expenditure for the council and logistically where do we put all these bins? If you haven’t got room to store them discreetly they become an absolute eyesore!

We could just fill up the bins we have, instead of carefully segregating the plastics, tins and glass. After all I have watched the bins being emptied and the contents are all thrown into the refuse lorry together. So why do we bother in the first place?

I definitely think that every individual household should have the option to refuse extra bins, especially when there may only be one or two people living there. They are unlikely to generate the same amount of waste as a family.
