A FIRE in North Yorkshire is believed to have been caused by a bird's nest.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say they were called out at just after 10am to Oriel Crescent in Scarbrough.
Two crews from Scarborough including the aerial ladder platform along with a crew from Filey attended a chimney fire in a three storey property.
A spokesman for the service said: "The cause is believed to have been a bird's nest falling into the chimney. The aerial ladder platform and a hose reel were used along with a thermal imaging camera."
