Charlie and Kacie are a brother and sister who were brought to the York RSPCA animal home because their previous owner could sadly no longer take care of them.

Staff say they are extremely bonded to each other and are pretty much inseparable so they will be looking for adopters who will adopt them together as they come as a pair.

Staff report they are such sweet-natured dogs who just love fuss and attention.

True to husky form they can be very vocal and love to show off their singing abilities.

They are quite strong on the lead when going for walks so potential adopters will need to work on that a little bit.

Staff at the centre are looking for adopters who have previous husky experience. Charlie will need muzzling when visiting the vets and when he is being groomed as he can be a little reactive which could be down to past bad experiences - this is no problem as he accepts the muzzle really well.

They are housetrained and can be left for short periods on their own, but are best suited to an adult only home where they are the only pets.

The RSPCA York Animal Home is an independent animal shelter and relies upon the support and funding of our local supporters to allow us to rehome hundreds of cats, dogs, small animals and wildlife each year. To find our more visit rspca-yorkhome.org.uk

Please note, due to the Covid restrictions we are only able re-home to adopters who live in York and the surrounding area.
