EAST Riding Council has announced details of the reopening of East Riding Libraries, Mobile Libraries, and its Customer Service Centres and Multi-Service Centres from Monday (April 12) in line with the Government’s roadmap.
East Riding Libraries will continue to offer the 'Order and Collect' service at the door for those customers who prefer to use it, and will also be open for limited browsing. Customers wishing to browse will need to bring their library card in order to borrow items in a safe contactless way.
From Monday, April 19, public PCs will be available for essential use only, and 30 minute slots will be available to book.
Caddy liners will be available at the door. There will be a strict limit on the number of customers at all sites. Customers are reminded that only single households/support bubbles will be allowed – mixed households will not be able to visit a site together.
Mobile Libraries will continue their usual service, and 'Short Stay' routes will restart on April 12.
Customer Service Centres and Multi-Service Centres will be available by appointment only - for enquiries that cannot be dealt with over the telephone or via the website, customers should still call 393939 to make the initial enquiry and an appointment will be arranged.
