There were chocolate eggs galore for village children in Bishopthorpe when Easter celebrations kicked off at St Andrew's Church on Friday.
The church held not one egg hunt, but three - all following socially distant and contact free trails. "There was something to suit everyone - including the adults!" said parish assistant Mhairi Dunn.
"It was the first of the planned activities for families which we hope will continue, and it was a joy to see lots of smiling faces!"
