A POPULAR Betty's cafe in North Yorkshire is set to feature on a BBC show - which explores the "most remarkable" places to eat in the UK.

Betty's in Harrogate will appear on the BBC's 'Remarkable Places to Eat' - which explores the top spots to eat in the country.

Ruth Burke-Kenned, PR manager at Bettys said: "We are really excited to be a part of this brilliant programme. It’s not just a peek behind the scenes at Bettys, but it also showcases the region and its superb cuisine brilliantly.

"If the food doesn’t tempt people to Yorkshire this summer, the beautiful countryside is sure too."

Presenters Nadiya Hussain and Fred Sirieix will visit Bettys alongside more of their favourite places to eat in Yorkshire. They will sample authentic Indian eats, world-class cheese and the freshest crab, as well as some of Betty's famous menu.

The programme will air on BBC Two tonight (March 30) at 8pm.
