Main road shut for fifth day
A MAIN road through a York village is shut for emergency repairs for a fifth day.
The Village in Strensall has been closed since Monday (March 15) due to emergency works being carried out by Northpowergrid.
The road will remain closed from Northfields to Lords Moor Lane until the work is complete.
Bus company First York say that their 5/5A services are being diverted as a result.
