The number of Covid patients being treated at York and Scarborough hospitals has fallen by 208 since its peak in January
THE number of suspected and confirmed Covid patients at York and Scarborough hospitals has fallen to 34 - with five now being treated in intensive care.
The figure is 208 fewer than the 242 being treated at the peak of the crisis on January 26.
York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust revealed the latest statistics today, and said a total of 2,065 Covid-19 patients had now been discharged since the start of the pandemic, or were no longer being treated as Covid-19.
