A MAIN road through a York village is shut for emergency repairs.
The Village in Strensall is now closed due to emergency works being carried out by Northpowergrid.
The road will be closed from Northfields to Lords Moor Lane from today (March 15) until the work is complete.
Bus company First York say that their 5/5A services are being diverted as a result.
