Firefighters were called out when a transit van caught fire
An electrical fault caused a transit van to catch fire.
A fire crew from Acomb was called out to the incident on Shipton Road just before 10am yesterday morning.
The fire had already been put out by the driver using a dry powder extinguisher by the time the crew arrived. It caused minor fire, heat and smoke damage.
The crew used a thermal imaging camera to carry out an inspection.
