Fire crews were called to the scene earlier this morning
FIRE crews were called to cut a person free after a single vehicle road traffic collision in York.
The incident happened at around 5am this morning in Bridge Road, Bishopthorpe.
Crews from York and Acomb attended the single vehicle road traffic collision, where the driver of the vehicle was trapped.
The crews used cutting equipment to release them and they were taken to hospital by ambulance.
