UPDATED: The fire is now out and crews used hose reels, breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera. The cause is believed to be batteries left charging overnight.
FIREFIGHTERS are tackling an on-going fire in an out building.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say they were called out to North Rigton near Harrogate at about 6.26am today and the incident is on-going.
A spokesman for the service said: "Crews are in attendance at an outbuilding on fire. Hose reel jets are in use to fight the fire and an additional fire engine has been requested to supply water."
