ANOTHER 8,692 York residents have been given a Covid jab in the past week.
City of York Council's latest data tracker report says that as of Wednesday, 54,289 residents in the local authority's area had received their first dose of vaccination against the coronavirus.
This compares with 45,597 a week earlier.
The report said that 1,077 people had also received their second dose.
