A new hotel for York on the former Carpetright site
I SEE yet another hotel is to be built in York (Hotel by walls set for approval, February 4).
How many hotels does York need? At least this one is outside the city walls, but just a short walk into the centre.
I just hope the proposal for the hotel in St Helen’s Square, which will have nine bars, will not go through.
This is York, a historic city, not New York or Las Vegas.
