Fire on electric bus in York
FIREFIGHTERS were called in to reports of a fire on an electric bus in York.
North Yorkshire Fire And Rescue say they were called out at about 11.10am yesterday to Tadcaster Road in Dringhouses in York.
A spokesman for the service said: "Crews attended an electric double decker with a smell of burning. They carried out an investigation and discovered it was from brakes. The fire was out and no action was required."
