EIGHT more people have lost their lives to Covid-19 at care homes in the York area, the latest figures confirm.
The data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) shows that the further eight deaths take the total at care homes in the York area to 14 so far in 2021.
The latest data is registered up until January 30.
The data was supplied to the ONS by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
