A CAR crashed into a tree in North Yorkshire yesterday (Sunday).
The driver had to be cut free by firefighters, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
Fire crews were called to the collision on Filey Road, Scarborough, at about 11.45am.
A spokesperson for the service explained: "Crews attended a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a car and a tree. They extricated the driver using hydraulic cutting gear."
