FIRE crews were called to an incident involving a fire on a house boat in York late last night.
Crews attended a small fire on a residential house boat in Ferry Lane in Bishopthorpe at around 11.30pm yesterday. The fire orignated at the rear of a wood burning stove.
The flames caused damage to plyboard and insulation due to radiated heat from the stove.
Crews used small tools, bucket, knapsack (back pack) sprayer and thermal imaging camera to tackle the fire.
