A PERSON who fell in the River Ouse near York was rescued by a local boat owner.
On Twitter, York Rescue Boat said it was called out by North Yorkshire Police at about 2.40pm on Sunday to reports of a person who had fallen into the Ouse close to Naburn.
"Team stood down en route as the person was rescued by a local boat owner and was safe with police and @YorksAmbulance," the charity tweeted.
