SNOW has started to settle in York this morning (Friday).
A Met Office forecast says the city can expect outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow moving during the morning.
Snow will settle in some low levels, but it will become brighter later today.
Tonight will see a widespread frost with the risk of icy stretches forming - with a minimum temperature of -4°C.
