HGV cab left hanging off a bridge after crash
FIREFIGHTERS were called in after an accident left the cab of an HGV hanging off a bridge.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say they were called out at 8:07am yesterday to Nun Monkton.
A spokesman for the service said: "A crew attended an incident involving a cab of a HGV overhanging a bridge. There was no-one trapped in the vehicle. The fire crew left the incident in the hands of the police and a vehicle recovery team."
