Firefighters were called to a house in Beverley after a Christmas tree caught fire in the living room
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a property in East Yorkshire after a Christmas tree caught fire in the living room.
Humberside Fire & Rescue Service said the fire broke out last night in Bartlett Avenue, Beverley, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to put out the blaze.
It added that a smoke detector had been activated by the fire.
