WITH speculation around Christmas building across the UK, we asked our readers how they felt Christmas should be spent this year.
The Government is expected to make an announcement on Thursday on the new restrictions set to be in place after the second national lockdown, which ends on December 2.
It has been said by the Westminster Government that a relaxation of coronavirus restrictions “for a small number of days,” over Christmas is planned to allow a limited level of mixing between households across the UK.
But questions remain over how many households will be able to mix and for how long.
We asked readers of The Press to vote for whether they feel Christmas should be spent with families, mixing households in the process.
Results of the poll below show that 89 per cent (2161 votes) of those who voted said that yes, they think that the festive period should be spent with our families.
However, this does raise the question that if we do mix households over Christmas, will this cause a third spike in the number of cases of the virus?
