FIREFIGHTERS were called out after reports of part of the roof hanging off a hotel.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say they were called out to the Market Place in Hawes at about 7.45pm last night.
A spokesman for the service said: "A crew from Hawes attended an incident involving 1 sheet of roofing lead hanging in a precarious position from a hotel roof.
"Crews used a 13.5m ladder to remove the lead and gave advice to the owner."
