WORK is set to begin on a new zebra crossing in Haxby.
The crossing will be installed on York Road, just north of its junction with Calf Close.
The work will get underway on Monday for two weeks.
Normal working hours will be 8.30am to 5.30pm from Monday to Friday, but some weekend work may be necessary.
Traffic will be managed with a temporary traffic light system.
