FIREFIGHTERS were called in after a car hit a train at a level crossing.
North Yorkshire Fire And Rescue say they were called out at 4.44am this morning to Northallerton.
A spokesman for the service said: "Crews from Northallerton responded to a report of a car which had hit a train at a level crossing. All persons were out of the vehicle on arrival of the fire service with no injuries, crews made the vehicle safe using tools."
