A MAN has died after being rescued from the River Ouse in York.
North Yorkshire Police received reports of a man in the river close to Scarborough Bridge shortly after midday on Monday.
"The man was rescued and transported to hospital where he later died," a spokesperson for the force said.
"His next of kin have been informed and his death is not being treated as suspicious."
