New cases of coronavirus have been reported at both of York's universities
THE University of York says it has been notified of 26 new coronavirus cases in 24 hours within its community.
It said it was aware of 111 individuals who were currently self-isolating because they had had a positive Covid-19 test, including the 26 new cases.
York St John University said that as of Thursday, 34 members of its community were currently self-isolating because they had had a positive Covid-19 test.
