A WOMAN has become impaled on piping whilst decorating.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said a crew from Scarborough went to a property off Gladstone Road in the town last night and rescued the casualty.
It said the woman had fallen whilst decorating and become impaled on some aluminium piping.
"Crew assisted ambulance service to transfer casualty and length of pipe into ambulance," it added.
