THERE has been one further death related to Covid-19 confirmed at a care home in the York area, the latest figures confirm.
The data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) confirm that the one further death sadly takes the total for care homes in the area up to 78.
This is the first death recorded at care homes in York for three weeks.
The latest data is registered up until October 17.
The data was supplied to the ONS by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
