A MAN in his thirties has been arrested on suspicion of affray and criminal damage and is currently in police custody after an incident in York last night.
North Yorkshire Police were at an incident at a property in Cygnet Street close to Nunnery Lane in York from before 4pm till late in to the evening last night.
A spokesman for the force said: "A man in his thirties has been arrested on suspicion of affray and criminal damage and is currently in police custody. Thank you to all residents for their patience while police dealt with the incident."
