FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a car fire in a residential street.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say crews from were called out at 5.55pm to reports of a car on fire in Selby.
A spokesman said: "The car fire was out on arrival of crews. The car owner had used a dry powder extinguisher. Crews used a thermal imaging camera to make the scene safe. The cause of the fire is believed to be an electrical fault."
