Four cars crash on major road on outskirts of York
FOUR cars crashed on a busy road on the outskirts of York last night (Monday).
Fire crews from Huntington, Acomb and Tadcaster were called to the collision on the A59 at Upper Poppleton, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
All occupants were out on arrival of crews and one man was being checked over by paramedics on scene for minor injuries, the service added.
Crews assisted with scene safety.
