FIREFIGHTERS were called out to flooding in a shop in York city centre last night.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue were in Parliament Street at about 7pm and found bad flooding on the ground floor of a retail unit.
A spokesman for the service said: "Crews gained access to the building and isolated a leaking toilet on the first floor using small tools. The premises was then re-secured and left in the hands of the police."
