FIREFIGHTERS have freed a deer that was stuck in a gate earlier today (Thursday).
The roe deer was stuck in a metal gate in Burton Salmon in the Selby district.
Station manager Bob Hoskins tweeted: "Selby crews are having a busy day. Their last job was freeing a roe deer which was trapped in a metal gate in Burton Salmon.
"Thanks to @RSPCA_official for their support."
