A MAN suffered a broken ankle and leg after getting his foot trapped under a car last night.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said crews from Northallerton, Easingwold and Ripon went to the incident in Upsall, near Thirsk,at 7pm.
It said the man was released by firefighters using chock blocks, an HGV ratchet strap and a car jack, and he was taken to hospital by ambulance.
