Police negotiator at on-going incident in North Yorkshire town

POLICE have cordoned off an area of a North Yorkshire town and called in a negotiator to an on-going incident.
North Yorkshire Police say they are currently at the scene of an ongoing incident in Franklin Street in Scarborough.
A cordon is in place to allow to emergency services, including a police negotiator, to respond.
Please avoid area until further notice.
