The Mail is now giving you the chance to highlight your favourite feature of your safe haven away from what is an ever-changing world.
It could be a stunning flower bed you spent ages cultivating, or a beautiful fountain or pond that helps create the perfect landscape whenever you look out of your patio.
TRANSFORMED: Alison Bolt's garden border at Downfield House, Leese was overgrown this time last year but is now a mass of colour after being planted with traditional pollinator-friendly perennials.
RIPENING: The Keswick Codlin apples being grown at Ford Park, Ulverston are coming along nicely, although not quite ready to eat, in the nursery, which is open again the public on Fridays and Saturdays from midday to 4pm.
COMING ALONG: The walled garden at Ford Park is not yet open to the public, due to Covid restrictions, but work is ongoing to make it safe to enter
GOOD USE: Base, the café at Ford Park is now open during the daytime from 10am until 2pm Monday to Saturday, offering a delicious family friendly menu that champions Cumbrian produce, much of which is grown in the garden
COLOURFUL:There are some stunning displays in public around Barrow as well, with Colin Hale taking this shot of this wonderfully put together flower bed at Barrow Park that is continuing to bloom
ENDLESS GREENERY: The vibrant coloured annuals, begonias and dahlias have made Jennifer Elizabeth Ball's back garden particularly vibrant this summer and will continue to do so into the start of autumn
