A CAR ended up in a beck after crashing into a bridge on a North Yorkshire road today.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said crews from Kirkbymoorside and Pickering went to the single vehicle collision on the A170 at Catter Bridge at just before 3pm.
It said smoke was coming from the car and firefighters extinguished it as it lay in the shallow beck.
They also provided first aid care to casualties who had been in the car, assisting paramedics on the scene.
