The Cosy Club in Basingstoke has reopened its doors after a four-month hiatus over the coronavirus pandemic.

The bar and restaurant opened in October 2019 and has become a popular spot for a cocktail in the town centre.

Based in Festival Place, Cosy Club in Basingstoke is a short distance away from Vue Cinema and The Angel pub.

In a message to customers, Cosy Club said: "We are over the moon to announce we have flung open our doors in selected Cosy Clubs and we can't wait to welcome you back."

Cosy Club in Basingstoke is taking part in the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, which means food from Moinday to Wednesday will be up to 50 per cent off.

Friday-Saturday 9am-1am

Cosy Club took over the empty Festival Place unit previously occupied by Giraffe. in Festival, in October 2019.

The restaurant offers a range of menus including vegan and gluten free, with options such as roast turmeric cauliflower, Asian seabass fillet and warm spiced aubergine, hummus and feta.

The brunch menu includes choices such as ham hock hash, scrambled tofu and buttermilk pancakes.

There is also an extensive drinks menu, with cocktails including Blow a Raspberry at Colin and Botanical Bliss.

The chain also gives away free cups of tea on Wednesday mornings between 10am and 11am to combat loneliness.

Even before the Cosy Club opens its doors it has arranged a Fabulously Festive Brunch for November 1 as well as taking Christmas and New Year’s Eve bookings.
