Police have identified a woman who officers wanted to speak to following a CCTV appeal.
Officers issued an appeal after reports of a fight in a York village.
North Yorkshire Police said the incident allegedly happened in Main Street in Heslington between 3pm and 4pm on June 15 and involved an altercation between two women.
Officers asked members of the public to get in touch if they recognised a person in CCTV images as they believed she may have information which could help the investigation.
Today (Monday, July 6) police confirmed that a woman in the CCTV images had been identified and was assisting with inquiries.
