PLANS are well underway for Brighouse Town's kitmen, Darrell Hadala and Will Armitage, as they are putting together an All Stars XI to take to the Yorkshire Payments Stadium in their very own testimonial.
Last season was the 10th one at the club for the well-known pair of volunteers.
Hadala, who hasn't missed one game in that 10 years (475 games), has been busy getting in touch with some of his and Armitage's favourite players of the last decade, and has had an outstanding response.
Most members of the 2013/14 Northern Counties East League Premier Division title-winning side have agreed to turn out, including 43-goal supremo Tom Matthews and captain from that season, Leon Henry.
The match will be played against a current Brighouse Town XI, which will of course be led by their manager Vill Powell.
Due to the current circumstances with the coronavirus pandemic, Brighouse are unable to set a date for the fixture, but it will be played when things are allowed to go back to normal. More details will follow in due course.
