POLICE are appealing for information about a burglary in Pitsea where a man was punched to the chest.
Police received reports that a man entered a property in Davenants at around 2.30pm on Tuesday June 16 and began searching inside.
He was disturbed and punched one of the occupants before leaving with a wallet containing cash and cards, two Rotary watches and two rings with ‘nan’ and ‘mum’ inscribed on them.
The suspect has been described as being white, in his early 30s, around 5ft 10ins tall and of a medium build.
He was described as having fluffy and messy fair hair and was wearing a multi-coloured pullover jumper, which looked like it was covered in paint. He was carrying a colourful laundry bag.
