Another 27 people who tested positive for Covid-19 have died in hospital in England, taking the total number of confirmed deaths in hospitals in England to 27,954, NHS England said.
The patients were aged between 50 and 101 years old.
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust were the only trusts to record Covid-19 deaths in Yorkshire.
Officials said that the patients, aged 77 and 96, had no known underlying health conditions.
Their families have been informed.
