A TOTAL of 450 cases of coronavirus has now been confirmed in the City of York Council area - up by one on yesterday’s figure.
Public Health England said York had a rate of 214.4 per 100,000 resident population, compared with an average of 269.6 for the whole of England and 493 for Gateshead.
It said a total of 1,281 cases had been confirmed in the North Yorkshire County Council area - up by two, giving a rate of 208.5, and 897 in the East Riding of Yorkshire Council area, an increase of 11, giving a rate of 264.1.
