BUSINESSES planning for recovery are being invited to a free live webinar to support them into the next phase.

Life After Lockdown: Cash Flow Planning for the Future will be hosted at 11am on Wednesday, June 3 on Zoom, and last about 30 minutes.

The event aims to help businesses to effectively prepare for life post-lockdown and consider their cash flow planning.

The webinar will be hosted by Mark Grewer, who is a director at York-based chartered accountants Hunter Gee Holroyd.

Mark will be offering his insight into the factors that will immediately affect businesses as the UK comes out of lockdown.

Topics will include cash flow forecasting, why it is important, and how to approach it.

This will include exploring a worked example and taking into account additional Covid-19 costs and considerations.

It will also look at post-lockdown plans, including how businesses will work and respond to changes.

Mark will also touch on various funding options available.

These include the Covid-19 government funding schemes, the typical contents of a Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS) application, and other funding options worth considering outside the government initiatives.

The webinar is likely to be of particular interest to business owners and those in finance roles.
