A FULL-TIME mum from North Yorkshire has braved the head shave to support Saint Catherine’s Hospice.

Chloe Hall, from Flixton, has taken her ‘lock down haircut’ to a new extreme by shaving her head.

Chloe decided to let her children and husband shave her head in a bid to raise £500 for Saint Catherine’s. However, Chloe has now smashed the target with her fundraising total standing at £700.

Chloe, 28, said: “Saint Catherine’s is a charity close to home as I have seen first-hand the services they provide for people in need. My grandad sadly spent weeks in there but we couldn’t have asked for better services.”

Before the head shave, Chloe divided her hair into pigtails and her children, Logan, Lacie and Lakelan, and her husband Zack, all took turns to cut one off. They all then had a go with the clippers.

Chloe said: “It hasn’t affected me at all. I didn’t like my hair anyway.

“The reaction from friends and family has been very supportive. They all say it suits me and it’s for a good cause.”

Susan Stephenson, communications and marketing manager at Saint Catherine’s, said: “A huge thank you to Chloe from all of us here. She has been so brave and we think she looks fabulous.”
